Established at 93-95 High Street at the beginning of the 20th century. New proprietors acquired the business in about 1934 and a limited company formed in 1952. A new site was acquired on the opposite side of the High Street and a petrol station opened in April 1956 and the remainder of the business moved over in March 1957.
